“Best coffee around!” – This place is a regular stop for me as it has some of the best coffee around. Cakes are great too. Nice staff make this a pleasant stop. ~ Kevthescot

“Good place to work” – Friendly staff, pleasant surroundings and truly wonderful food with a Brazilian air. Quiche, pies, cake, croissants, cheese/rice dough balls, rice bake, salads. ~ Richmondie
“Friendly staff, light decor and incredible cakes” – Family visit for coffee and brunch, sitting in the quiet courtyard out at the back. Good service, plentiful food and pleasant surroundings. Good range of choice from cereals and smoothed through to vegetarian breakfast. Interesting Brazilian influences and ingredients make an excellent change from the usual coffee bar fare. I can highly recommend the Tangerine cake. Will certainly visit again…~ 227AndrewB
“Love our friendly, unusual neighbourhood coffee shop” – We come to Tangerina for coffee, sometimes to work or for family breakfast. There are great staples on offer (porridge, pastries) but you really have to try some of the salads and the unusual Brazillian dishes like acai (a fruit pulp, eat it at breakfast with granola and sliced banana). And of course the tangerine cake! ~ HackneyMum
“A gem at the southern end of Green Lanes” – We live locally, and are delighted to have Tangerina around the corner. We use it as a meeting place for coffee, breakfast and lunch and as a takeaway. The staff are vey accommodating, and personable, and the owners have gone out of their way to make one feel welcome. The Brazilian food is wholesome and interesting, and the special themed days are fun and atmospheric. The cakes are exemplary. What a cheer it is, to have a cafe of this standard in the area: we come here at least twice a week, and thoroughly recommend it. ~ Sarah P
“Arguably the best coffee and cakes in London” – Met a group of friends at this cafe and didn’t know what to expect. We decided to be adventurous and tried some of the Brazilian offerings on the menu and discovered some very interesting combinations of flavours and textures – delicious and exciting! It was the coffee and cakes that truly surprised. I’m antipodean and we take our coffee very seriously and I can honestly say that this was the best coffee I have had in 13 years of living London! The cakes were rich and delightful – with generous servings. With friendly service and a great atmosphere we might have to visit this place more often and work our way through the interesting menu. I’ll be back for the coffee alone! ~ Kiwi_Ant

Really good, complex but easy drinking coffee with none of that heavy bitterness you get with some artisanal coffee shops. I couldn’t get over how friendly the staff were – they even held the door for you! I didn’t get a chance to order food but I had major envy seeing the other customer’s dishes and will definitely be back. ~ Rosemary G.
This Brazilian influenced cafe is an excellent spot for a quick coffee and croissant, or a full meal. They serve excellent Red Church coffee. The almond croissant I had was delicious. And they have a fantastic selection of natural and health juices and smoothies. I had mango and açai, which was superb. The place was clean and quiet – a perfect place to do some reading with a coffee. They also have free Wifi, in case you want to get some work done!
I highly recommend checking this place out ~ Jon M.
